Information provided by a classmate: He passed away about 2008 or 2009, I believe. He made his home in Florida; I think on the gulf coast; I'm not sure exactly where. After his opera career he became an attorney. He went to school in St. Louis I think. He had been a member of the St. Louis Opera. Although he specialized in real estate, he was certified to argue cases before the SCOTUS. His wife, Diana, was still living in 2010, but he left no children. His parents and sister, Deb (class of '69), are all deceased also. Stephen was my childhood next-door neighbor.

Sorry to hear about Steve's passing. He was in the choir with me at Smith and South. Always had a beautiful voice. We had some fun times in the "South Men" together. Sadly missed!!!

I am really sad to hear the passing of Steve. I remember him and his sister Deb growing up in the Collins Park area. I saw Deb at a Collinswood reunion in 2004. I knew Steve growing up and attending Collinswood elementary in the 1960s. Really sad to hear of this news.
