I'm sorry to see that none of Mark's numerous friends, aquaintances or hangers-on have posted here yet. Mark was a catalyst for so many good times shared by an eclectic, fun-loving and hedonistic group. His "all is permissible" life view, along with a general disregard for mortality led to countless memorable and wild rides for those of us on the perphery of his life. Most of us had the luck or sense to make it through the period; older and wiser and, perhaps, a few neurons lighter. Sadly, Mark didn't join us.
Mark Steven Vickery passed away October 1, 1975 sitting in his vehicle in the parking lot of the Carafe Cafe. He was 22 years old. I knew Mark for about 2 years, hanging out with the gang, riding around in the Wonder Bus and playing pranks about town. We shared lots of laughs and just a great guy to be around. It is sad he was alone in the end. Rest in peace Mark.
